ChaDorea "Cha Cha" Robinson

Dance Studies 

ChaDorea Robinson, professionally known as,“Coach Cha Cha,” holds a Master of Business Administration with a cognate in Project Management from Cornerstone University (Grand Rapids, MI) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI) with dance specialization coursework.  ChaDorea has trained at various dance studios including, Iibada Dance Company (Indianapolis, IN), Lawrence North High School (Indianapolis, IN), and Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI).

Robinson has coordinated, produced, directed, and choreographed 20 full-length dance concerts, 2 plays, and 14 various community art-related events. Her choreography has been represented in over 200 dance pieces that have been performed throughout the United States. Notably she has been awarded Best Show and Overall 1st Place, in Regional and National Choreography competitions.  Coach Cha Cha’s work has been nominated to the World Dance Championship in 2010, 2011, and 2014.

Mrs. Robinson serves as a Dance Educator and Dance Team Coach to Lansing School District students. She is an advocate for integrating the arts in the school curriculum and behavioral workshops. She is known for creative, innovative, fun, and sometimes intricate choreography, but she also knows how to find movements that are comfortable and fit for her clients. She is a community leader who inspires, motivates, and builds up others by encouraging them to dance. Mrs. Robinson has been honored to impact the lives of hundreds of students and their families through her studio.

As the Artistic Director of TPAC, Robinson will manage organization events, dance education curriculum, performance partner bookings, and masterclasses in collaboration with the Executive Office.

​

She is an affiliate of the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, Michigan Dance Council, and the National Dance Education Organization. 

​

Robinson will co-teach TPAC Gold Company. She will be the main instructor for all Dance Courses and Movement for Singers.
